So the situation right now, my dad is currently out of a job facing losing his house. 50yrs. old not in the best health which makes finding a job even more of a problem. Recently he was turned down because of his diabetes from two jobs he was more than qualified for. Of yeah he is a driver transporter or whatever. The last job he had, he put more than 15yrs. into this place and they just dumped him because the daughter of the owner didn’t like him. How jacked is that, not to mention the fact that the economy is already crappy as hell.
I mean do people ever think about how their choices will affect others. To be honest I just want to beat his owners ass, but sadly he wouldn’t let me. Anyways, what have I learned from this. Granted my father didn’t do a lot to set himself up for life when he was younger, but you’d think that if you put the time in like he did that it would be worth something. It is sadly becoming more and more apparent everyday that, that is just not so anymore. So I learned well I already knew for myself that I will never be put into that situation ever! Not to critiscize my dad but I will never let anyone to control my well being. I.e. being employed and therefore dependent on someone else for my financial needs.
No regardless of my fathers situation I will always be like that because I am better and will always strive for more. Rest assured though I am not one of those people who will forget where he came from. I am very much at home with my roots and despite how everyone thinks that if you become rich you forget about the small people, simply not true. I will never forget because I still will have those close to me in those same situations and as much as possible I will work to see them receive the same success that I have received.
Basically I have assessed my options, looked at obstacles of getting there and the benefits of reaching my goal. Not only that but I have a plan of action for achieving those goals with highly detailed objectives and descriptions for what I will need to reach my success. Rest assured I will not work for someone else just so that they can reap the rewards. No, I will not be using my intelligence in order to see someone else bask in my glory. I don’t discourage others either, I simply know what I want and I am willing to do what it takes to get there.
I know there are obstacles and yes there will be hard times but thats life! You want something then stay dedicated and don’t let anyone or anything get you down just keep plugging. People can try to tear you down but when you reach your success it will feel that much better that you made it through despite their words and you can throw it in their face. Plus my son will never be put in my position, he will never worry about his fathers economic stability
